Restore, Protect, and Impress — Where Performance Meets Presentation

Our Engine Bay Cleaning service is a meticulous process that revitalizes the heart of your vehicle by safely removing built-up dirt, oil, grime, and debris from your engine compartment. Whether you're getting ready for a car show, improving resale value, or just maintaining your investment, a clean engine bay not only looks impressive—it helps with performance monitoring, early leak detection, and longevity.

Initial Inspection & Safety Precautions

  • Inspection of engine bay to identify sensitive or aftermarket components (intakes, sensors, exposed wiring).
  • Covering of critical electrical components, exposed filters, and air intakes with protective plastic or waterproof shields.
  • Battery terminals and fuses double-checked for sealing and corrosion.

Dry Debris Removal

  • Use of compressed air and soft detailing brushes to remove loose leaves, dust, and surface dirt.
  • Targeted agitation in hard-to-reach areas like under cowl panels and around strut towers.

Degreasing & Breakdown of Built-Up Contaminants

  • Application of a safe, non-caustic degreaser or all-purpose cleaner to the entire engine bay.
  • Focus on oily areas, valve covers, engine blocks, hoses, and fluid reservoirs.
  • Agitated with soft brushes and detailing swabs to break up stubborn grime and build up.

Controlled Rinse or Steam Cleaning

  • Low-pressure rinse (never high pressure) or steam-cleaning method to safely flush away loosened contaminants.
  • Avoids water intrusion into sensitive electronics or components.

Drying & Moisture Removal

  • Thorough drying using microfiber towels and compressed air to remove moisture from crevices and electrical areas.
  • Ensures no water is left behind that could cause corrosion or performance issues.

Dressing & Protection

  • Application of a heat-resistant dressing to plastic, rubber hoses, and engine covers.
  • Restores colour and adds UV protection to prevent drying and cracking.
  • Leaves a clean, satin finish — not greasy or overly shiny.
